I’m working on my project cause I have a deliverable for tomorrow. So I got a quick take away from a Chinese place down the street. The food wasn’t spectacular (prob not going back) but oddly, they gave me a fork. Being Chinese, I prefer chopsticks so it was awkward to use fork for a take away dish. The noodles were all stuck together so it made it impossible to eat with a plastic bendy fork. The fork couldn’t get a grip on the noodle and when it did… it sprung back and shot sauce on me. Only with a plastic fork… Thankfully, most went to on the table but I still got a bit on me. Contemplating about carrying chopsticks for emergencies.

Yummy Burger Dinner
Burger and fries, meet Kogos.
Had to work late today at school so I went to get dinner at Picks‘. I heard about this place for months but have never actually ate there. Tonight wasn’t cold so I made the trek from school to pick up a yummy dinner.
They serve the classic greasy goodness of burgers and fries. You get to choose what you want to put on your burger. I got me a burger with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, fried mushrooms, and chipotle mayo. It was definitely worth the trip. I’d much rather go to this place than eat at O Burger and its so much more affordable than M Burger.
The funny looking corn dog in the picture is covered in French fries. The owner is Korean and the kogos is a type of street food in Korea. It was a bit over fried (obvious in the picture) but it was still delicious. I got it with a garlic mayo dipping sauce to round it off.

I went to Premiere Moisson (warning, kitschy music) today to pick up a pie for my girlfriend as a gift to my parents. Its a fruit cake with almond cream. I love fruit pies in general while this takes it to a whole new level. It is definitely worth trying. If you have recommendation for deserts in Montreal, please drop me a line @jaimeyu.

Welcome all to my awesome self absorbed journal. My friend are probably more aware of my other blog, Ask a Geek, which is where I keep my real nerdy stuff. Its a blog that I maintain with hacks, tips, and Q&A from people around the world. I’ve been feeling quite trapped with the boundaries that I set for that blog so I created this one. I want more freedom with what I post and an excuse to post cute pictures of my puppy. I will try not to… really, I promise.
